Menu / Linen / Cake Selection at NRC DONE!!!!!!!!!
FH and I met tonight with George the maitre'd at NRC and he is FREAKING AWESOME!!!!!!!!!
He's upgrading one of our CH stations for free AND throwing in a Martini bar!!!!!!!! He's giving FH and I and MOG Surf & Turf for our entree for free (normally an upgrade)!
He's going to try his best for FH's stupid Incredible Hulk ice sculpture, lol.
And the best part.......our CAKE! I'm getting the style cake I want. Round stacked tiers with rhinestone ribbon wrapped around the center of each tier with red roses at the base of each tier. It's going to be devil's food cake with strawberry and custard filling and buttercream icing
We're going to have ivory tablecloths and black napkins, with a stemless red rose at each place setting.
I'm SO excited now!!!!!!!!! It's all becoming SO REAL!!!!!!
ETA a pic of the cake - it'll be smaller, round tiers, and red roses:
