so excited that the cork card box and 175 ceremony wands are finished...next the signage for the ceremony. Only 60 days to go - this summer is going to fly by!

How much did you spend on your wands? I want to make them, but I've priced them as $100+ with everything. Where did you get your supplies?

I bought the wands at Home Depot. They are 1/4 inch dowels, 36 inches long, cut into 3, 12 inch long a piece. I found them in the isle with the molding. They were $0.98 a piece. My dad was kind enough to cut the wands and paint them with some white primer he had around the house.

I cut the ribbon into 40 inch pieces, tied at the middle. I was able to get 50 yard rolls for $9.00 at a florist supply place in NH.

I would estimate that each wand cost about $0.72 each plus the paint which we had and some hot glue.

I am hoping it is all worth it in the pictures :) Best of luck!!
