So my FFIL applied online to become an ordained minister so that he can marry us. He received the documents last week so it looks like we are good to go. I hope it all works out! I guess if it doesn't, we will just have to get married by a justice of the peace after the fact. Ugh!

what affiliation is it? I know there's one that is NOT recognized by NYS (my friend found out a week before her wedding- not cool!)
