Check for me...

Ok, so today we booked the Priest for our ceremony. Yey! One down, one to go. Now we just need a Rabbi to go with him. Anyone know a Rabbi that will do an interfaith ceremony next to a Catholic Priest? FM me please!

(my Rabbi won't do it )

The priest asked us today if we were going to raise children by entering marriage but he didn't specifically say in the faith, so I don't know. FH and I said afterwards that we were going to educate them on both and let them decide for themselves what they believe.

My uncle is a priest and he won't marry me at the hall. If I don't get married at the church he won't marry me.

1_ try Rabbi Alan Stein and Rabbi Roger Ross

Children: None of the interfaith rabbis I have spoken with have said anything about kids.

In the Catholic church the catholic partner ONLY has to sign a document saying she'll do 'everything in her power' to raise the children catholic, but as my priest mentioned, that could be having a seriosu discussion about it. They want to make sure you will try and have not abandoned it, but if you choose something else ultimately, that is ok.
