Last night my mom and I went back to Bridal Reflections in Carle Place with my dad and best friend...and I decided on my dress!!
It's an Ines Di Santo, and it's so unique and beautiful. It was a long/confusing journey...but i'm happy with my choice! Oh, and the best part...I feel super skinny in it, which everyone thinks i'm crazy for making a deciding factor but- WHATEVER! ha.
Another added bonus, the girls and my mom will now get a certain % off of their dresses at BR!
Only negative part, this woman's dress sizes are insane and my measurements were 4 sizes over what my normal size is, and I had to spend extra $$ for sizing!! These designers are CRAZY!

I had the same issue with sizing - I think i ordered a size ten and i'm usually a 4/6! They actually wanted to order me a 12 initially but I insisted I will be losing weight - oops! I think some salons force you to get the bigger size because they can charge you more - not cool!

They charged extra for a 14! I was a 10/12 on everything but my hips and I know those things aren't moving- i've been trying to lose them for 10 years..haha. So better to be safe then sorry!

It's so crazy with the sizing! and all of the designers are different. I ended up with Pronovias, and I am a 6 in reg. clothes, so expected a 10/12 in bridal (like most of the other places I went to), and ended up with an 8! Made me feel more confident when I tried it on, but maybe that's a trick Pronovias uses to get brides to feel more beautiful in their gowns lol idk
