Check out my Goof...

First. I am not letting myself get upset over this. I realized I goofed as soon as the BM dresses came.. I made peace with it..I even thought up solution..

Here is the problem. My mom is making the FG dresses. They were originally designed to take elements from both my dress (i.e., the sheer overlay and bottom detailing) and the BM dresses (i.e., The two pink colors and the sashes going down the back. The darker pink would be found in the sash going around the waist and the lighter pink in the flower on the bow.).
Barrons was making the sashes to go around the dresses for us. I went in to pick the colors and eyeballed from what I remembered the Bm dresses colors as. Here was the mistake. The darker pink in the BM dresses was much lighter than I remembered. SO the sash around the FG dresses was much darker than the BM dresses were.
I found a solution.... I decided that I would pull in the the NEW third pink color by wrapping the BM flower stems in that DARKER pink color.. really mauve...

What do you think of the colors together? DO they look alright?

I think they look great--are you also going to add that color to the bouquet (in flowers) I think it would awesome. Also your mom did a great job on the dresses. How much did Barron's charge u to mkae the sashes b/c I need them to be made too.

Here is PROBLEM NUMBER 2:
I already posted it but now I figured that I have all the pictures together..

I made these kissing balls. I originally put purple in to break up the pink and i LOVE them with the purple. But now taht I have three pinks I am worried that the purple is a bad idea. I have this picture of two kissing balls. One has the purple in it and one is just shades of pink and white. Which do you think match my whole color scheme better. I really don't and actually WON'T incoorporate purple into any other flower arrangements. I wanted to use the ones in my avatar as the BM flowers.

What do you think? Purple or no Purple?

I think adding the dress pictures under the Kissing balls helps you visualize it better. At least it does for me!

Even though there is no picture I remember the kissing balls & I think that you can either add the darker pink to the kissing balls or leave them with the pink & white.

The darker pink is kind already in the kissing balls. I don't have anyother flowers to add to and I looked and can't find any to match the flower already in it. The issue is.. Do I take the purple?? AAK I am losing sleep over this!

I think that the boquet will have the color. I will remove the red roses in the boquet in my avatar and put darker pink (somewhere between the dark pink in the BM dresses and the dark pink in the FG dresses) with lighter pink roses and the gerbers to match..

Barron's charged me 25$ per sash. They are really well made! The insides, where it is put together is soo intricate!

I THINK THEY LOOK GREAT. ITS A CONTRAST WHICH IS OK. DONT WORRY

The place where I got my BM dresses made a little stink about me having them make it. I bought a yard of the material to match my BM dresses & they were like well we are going to have to charge you--no fooling did they think I didn't know that--boy oh boy---I just can't take it anymore. I wonder if I just went to barron's with the material woudl they charge me the same--I only need one even if it is a little mroe i wouldnt care b/c I really like yours.

i think the dresses look terrific together and i love the purple in the kissing balls., it really makes it 'pop'. they are all beautiful spring/summer colors and i think they all work well together.

They might charge you a little less.
They will cut and sew the pieces but before they attach it all they will call you in to look at the pieces and make sure you like it. They have a lot of dresses there so you can go over and just point to a bow you like and they will make it.

I LOVE the purple. I agree that it makes gives the balls some pop and brings the whole color scheme together. Really great job. Are those fresh flowers? How did you do that?

I'm with the girls on this one. As much as I love the kissing balls with the purple, I think it would look much better with all the pinks if you take the purple out.

Ok--you are welcome for the help. I like them both. I agree with you that I like the purple too. I think it looks nice together. Honestly since the kissing balls will only be used during the church & you like the purple I would leave it in. THere isn't that much in the kissing balls & I think it looks really nice. Hope that helps.

ok... what color IS that sash? is it more of a wine-y color?

as much as i hate to write this... the purple must leave.

as far as the colors... i think they do go well, but we definitely need to wrap our flowers in the flower girl material (umm...who's idea was that? thanksyourwelcome).

Anyways... it's 'shades of pink' as I like to call it.
