Check out the sample of table number candles i made for Kellybean!!! pics on page 2

so i have to make the blue darker and the numbers a little deeper and maybe add some embelishment maybe some blue stripes i have to play with it.....i think it looks a little too plain...but here is the first draft!!!!!!!
remember this is just the sample...the real product will look better!! lol

lol its nail polish hahahahaha...but im gonna use wax or glue on crystals to embelish them...the outside wont burn just the inside so i dont have to worry about them melting! i made the candle...it is not store bought! lol

i used to have a candle making compnay a few years ago..i been dying to do it again i love it! lol

yeah- rinestones would be good and it would dress it up. or maybe use a stencil and do the dots in that craft paint they have at michaels

yeah i gotta see....i dont want this to get too expensive....like i said this is just the prototype then kelly can change whatever she wants on them lol

yeah- the rinestones can really add up..maybe just at the top or on the #

is it expensive to make the candles or are you set on making them. There's always $ store candles, but homemade may actually be cheaper

i like the idea of the table # candle though

it depends where you get the supplies and how much u wanna spend how many you have to make. I love doing it so i dont mind much. it can get pricey. it is very time consuming. the most expensive thing is the molds they are15-30 each lol i am doing 1 at a time so i dont have to buy so many molds

Heather - I wouldn't use nailpolish - its flammable!

Maybe find a non-flammable thing to decorate the candles with?

LMAO i am not doing the fianl product in nail polish hahahaha

but even if i did the outside doesnt burn..lol it will leave a shell behind it just burns the inside!! hahahahaha.

The color will be done in non flamable crft paint or we r gonna add crystals!

i used to nail polish to make it look darker for the picture cause i didnt have royal blue pain on hand

i dont really like the painting directly onto the candle....can u do this on the computer on maybe vellum?? it would probably look more professional that way. (if this sounds mean it isnt meant 2 be @ all.)

lol i carved the numbers into the wax and filled it with blue wax...but it was too light! so i just used the nail polish to darken the sample lol

we might end up doing white on blue i have to see!
i came up with the idea a few months ago cause i am gonna make my unity candles so i mentioned it to kelly and she liked it so im gonna try and to them for her!

vellum will take away the effect of a HAND MADE CANDLE lol the whole point is having something handmade and different anyone can do vellum around a candle! it doesnt have to look professional. the final product will look nicer.
