Check out these invites!!!

We just got the invitation for a wedding.



ETA- they do look better in person. My camera s*cks. A new camera is on my X-mas list!

And- you cant tell in the pic, but the folder part is pearlescent. Maybe I should just repost when i get a better camera- lol

those are very pretty!!.. i did a mockup invite similiar to that.. but the box made it soo expensive to mail.. it's in my album..

u better get to cracking, cause ur' cousin did set the bar really high!!

yeah- yours were awesome. The box is nice, but the invite itslef is just as pretty.

Hers didnt have a box.

I ordered my samples and swatches from cards and pockets tonight.

FBIL (wiseazz) says ' thers were the first invites to come with its own valet'...lol

I said, wow- we are doing a whole folder and ribbon and buckle- so does that mean ours come with its own shouffer?

uh oh.. sounds like a challenge is brewing.. u're going to need u'r invite to jump out of the envelope on it's own.. or maybe u'r invite should be like the spoiled rich kids on my super sweet sixteen- just send ipods to everyone on u'r list and u'r invite can be a song that's recorded onto the ipod with a picture of u and fh that u uploaded..

haha- i dont know about sending my guests each an ipod since I dont even have one yet.

Im not even gonna TRY and compete, but I know my invites will be nice and my wedding will be great.

They are by a designer called Michael Gitelle.

do not compete with your cousin....its your day and her day is her day MAKE it so different so that no one will even compare the two weddings...lets just hope you do not get the same dress....

Yeah- I'm not competing at all. I was planning on doing nice pocketfold invites anyway, now im just excited to get going on mine. We were just kidding about the competition thing..lol

Your right- everyones style it totally different so it cant possibly be a similar wedding.

If she ends up with the same dress- too bad- I'm still wearing mine 6 months later b/c i love it.... but i highly doubt it is the same at all. LOL

wait we were just kidding on the competition thing? so u're not going to go door to door on a horse with a town crier and a brass horn player to personally hand out invitations to each of your guests?

then you're prob also not going to hire some third rate music act to sing at your wedding either then huh...
