Check this out, this is wierd & true!
A few days before my wedding, I went out to my car to pick up my mom so we can go get my dress.My neighbor told me that someone hit my car. A young guy in a red 2 door car. I was parked on the corner so he didn't do major damage, just a dent in the fender & the bumper.
The jerk kid got out, looked at my car & his & left. Didn't leave a note, good thing my neighbor got his plate.
Anyway I didn't want to deal with this till after my HM.
So I get back & I had 2 people I know run these plates.
And guess what? There are TWO cars with the SAME NY license plate & they are BOTH 2 door red cars. One is a VW, the other a chevy! One is registred in Syracuse NY & one in Queens!!
I then happened, the same day as I find the plates out, to be driving & the kid is right in front of me at the red light!
I immediately go around him and stop my car in front of him, get out & knock on his window & made him pull over.
His car has both plates on it and I saw his registration etc. Car is registered to where it should be. He is paying me for damages!
But TWO CARS have the SAME plate! Wierd huh?

Jen that is weird... but I got to tell ya... BE CAREFUL!!! There are so many nuts out there. I can't believe you stopped him and confronted him
I am glad it worked out o.k. for you, but don't scare me like that anymore.

Thanks Liz.He is a short kid, maybe 24?
And I stopped him on a crowded street. I know still right?

Jenn that is weird but seriously be careful look what happened to that woman yesterday. It was day light tons of people around.Glad that you got him though!

That just gets me mad that he is getting away with that, meanwhile when you are 2 days over due on your inspection and a cop pulls you over!!

That is very weird. Could it be that one owner of this plate has the old Liberty plates and the other one has the new Empire plates. That's the only explanation I can think of, besides a DMV screw-up!!
