CHECK (with a vendor rave!): Undergarments
So yesterday I realized that I had put off shopping for my long line bra as long as I possibly could. My fitting is Tuesday, I needed to get moving on it! ![]()
I guess I wasn't looking forward to going to those old bra shops with the little old women, they just make me feel weird and self-conscious![]()
After doing some searching on the LIW boards I came across a place in Merrick called Great Shapes, which came highly recommended by a few ladies.
I worked with a woman named Sherri, and she was super helpful and really very sweet.
They were wonderful there, and had what I needed in stock!!![]()
Mom found what she needed, but they didn't have hers in stock. They'll get it from one of their other locations and have it for her to pick up in a day or two. Her dress isn't in yet, so that works for us.

ETA: They also have a lot of swim wear, so if you need for your honeymoon they're a great source for that too!
