Beautiful , I loved this place. The outdoor areas are amazing. Similar to Chateau Briand and to what the Woodbury CC does with some of the outdoor space in the cocktail area. It's a south beachy vibe.
The ballrooms are huge. They were setting up for an event for 1000 people!!
Overall it was really beautiful. They quoted me $86 pp for a Friday night in October, but tons of other fees.
I love the look of lounge/city feel. I can't seem to find many venues with this furniture and look. They could do this for me but I would need to rent all of the furniture myself.
Still looking!

You're referring to the Starlight room with that furniture. CHCC was our second to last place, and we booked it within 3 hours of our first visit! What other places were you considering?

Yes! It was the Starlight room. I love what they do with 'the touch of lounge' but I want that look my reception completely. They will do it but I need to hear back from them on the cost of furniture. Right now I'm considering Woodbury CC. I was planning to look at Atlantis Aquarium.
I'm very familiar with the south shore water view venues and I like them a lot, but I won't be able to do the lounge look at these places.
Have you seen anything like the 'touch of lounge' that CHCC does some place else?

Hmmmm....can't think of any. Every place FH and I visited had a completely different vibe from the last. People keep talking about the 'club venue' that's next door to Bridgeview Yacht Club, that might have a lounge feel.

Chateau Briand has really nice outdoor furniture too! Check them out! I almost booked with CHCC but their fees were too unreasonable for me. Chateau had the same feel for less IMO plus its beautiful and the foods yummy! Lol

I loved CHCC. But I wanted to be the only wedding or affair at one time. And I didn't like that there was one bathroom that you share with all the parties. It was my favorite but I wanted a Saturday night. It was too expensive for me!

i got married at CHCC and just want to say i highly recommend them - everything was PERFECT!!! I found them to be much better priced than Woodbury CC and they also gave many more options for your money.
If you do an outdoor ceremony or cocktail hour you will definitely get the south beach/lounge vibe outside. I know the 'lounge' option that CHCC has, and if i recall it was somewhat pricey. My husband wanted us to do it, but my argument against it (aside money) is that yes the couches etc look great; but do you really want your guests hanging out on the couches or do you want them on the dance floor? We opted to not do it and our dance floor was packed all night. IMO, regardless of where you choose to get married, you can give it somewhat of a lounge feel based on the color linens you use, chair covers, uplighting and centerpieces. good luck and FM if you have any questions about chcc
