So i booked my church, hall, DJ, photog/video a while back and i havent really talked to them
should i give them a call just so they remember me? i have a fear they are going to mess up the date or something?
has anyone done this? what should i say besides 'Hi, I am a paranoid bride, please humor me'?
Thanks!!!

Re: checking in with vendors
I did not bother them if I did not need to ask them question.
I had confirmed by email after booking them that I was looking forward to do business with them (including the date of the wedding AGAIN!).
I started to get in touch with them again about 1-1.5 month before the wedding.

Re: checking in with vendors
I didn't contact mine till about 2 months b4 to figure out what I needed to do. Most of them will also contact you as the date gets closer.
There is this time frame where you go from doing a bunch of wedding stuff to doing nothing at all....it'll start to pick up again soon

Re: checking in with vendors
I also booked my vendors a few months ago and I have not called anyone since I booked them. I am pretty confident they will all be there on the big day.

Re: checking in with vendors
I booked a lot of the bigger ones about a year ago. I haven't contacted anyone other than the church or the RH since then. I have to contact my florist and photographer next month to make another payment and go over directions and final arrangements.

i checked in on them. i wouldn't be too concerned about their reactions. Remember...you're giving them a LOT of money!

Re: checking in with vendors
you don't need to check in untilabout 2 weeks to a month before. I have been checking with my vendors last week and this week and I am getting married on the 17th.
