i want dolce de leche.. but its too sweet with buttercream


cochoclate pudding butter cream and GANOL

i called dortoni today and mad the appt. they were SOOOOO NICE on the phone. they asked me what flavors i wanted to try. i ust said 3.. butter cream pudding and canoli.. when we got there the guy gave haroula and i cups with fillings and some cake.. and i wanted dolce de leche.. so he got that for us.

i decide what design i want. give jt a pic.. and then jt gives it to the bakery. im still not clear as to who i give the rhinestone trim to. ill discuss that with jt.

Hmm interesting....good to know!

Btw--this has nothing to do with cake, but do you think JT will let me have sangria at my wedding? I want it!

i think so. they had a nice greek menu for CH that i didnt know about til the menu meeting! im like WHOAAA

they have a bunch of menus for diff types of foods. i swapped some stuff at ch for some greek stuff.

im sure sangria is in the spanish menu? lol

chafing dishes- garides saganaki(stuffed baked shrimp) keftedakia, calamarakia santorini(stuffed friend calamari) psito octopus, mousaka , pastitsio

saganaki station- flambe fried kefalogaviera cheese croquettes made to order (didn tget this)

souvlaki station- grilled pork and chiken skewers with tzatziki (got this in substitiute for a station i think. or in addition i dont remember)

cold displays( i didnt get cuz it makes yo breath stink and its more $ if its all of them)

mezedes(skordalia, taramosalata, olives etc

loukaniko display- spicy n sweet greke sausseeech

ouzeri- chilled ouzo served in shot glasses placed next to cheese tray


cheese tray- an assortment of various traditional cheeses.. haloumi, feta, kaseri goat.
