Hotel Blocks are DONE!... well picked out.
just have to sign the contracts and send them in then they are DONE!

AND....

INVITES HAVE BEEN PROOFED and will be ordered by tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

who did you end up with for the hotel blocks?

um.. hampton inn jericho-westbury and residence inn marriott.

hampton inn has a shuttle but its a little further away and a little pricier (but still under $180/night) but the rooms were nice, they each have a terrace, the staff was nice and FH was IN LOVE with their coffee (I wanted to strangle him- in a oh so loving and caring way )

marriott is much nicer, each room is basically a suite, pets are allowed, the place was huge and GORGEOUS, price was A LOT cheaper... but it was kinda noisy because there's a lot of people that stay there.

so we're doing both and letting our guests choose between the two.
If 20 rooms get booked at hampton inn then we get a free room, if not we're going to stay at the marriott... just have to get a car to take us there.
