omg you guys always make me feel like i am so behind. and when i mention something to FH, he's like 'ummm why so soon????'. he thinks i am wedding crazy! so having said that, we only booked RH and dj the photog i need to book a year in advance, she she's a freelancer. and i figured everything else we'll book 6-12 months before the wedding. and until then, i'm all about saving

And get this.... i mat be moving my wedding up a whole year and yet I still have nothing booked....except the RH is on hold
my dad wants us to move the wedding to 08 !! he says he wants grandkids like ASAP LMAO im like slow down pops!

another reason we're starting to book now is because it locks in the prices.. most companies have a markup every year. In addition, for some other things like the florist and DJ.. we can negotiate a lesser price if we have the opportunity to pay them all upfront. A little discount here and there is certainly welcomed.

I was overwhelmed at first too.. but then I started to think about what kind of wedding we wanted..once we decided that.. it was on to look for a venue because it kinda sets the tone. Once I found a venue, I was so excited because it was easier to make decisions knowing what the tone and style way.

Just RH. Called the church last month - we're too early to book. Tried again yesterday - waiting for a call back.
