Checks !!!
So yesterday was QUITE an adventure. The day got started off really badly since my BIL discovered that his car window had been smashed in!
Then my FMIL called saying she was going to check out Designer Warehouse in Brooklyn, which had been recommended to her. I said I'd come with her. The GPS took us to the wrong place, so it took us 90 minutes to get there and it was crap. Ugh. worst place ever. I said 'is there somewhere else we can go near here to salvage the trip?' so we stopped at a dress shop and she tried on a Jovani which she liked, but they weren't sure they could get it in the color she wanted. Then we went home and got my mom. I went to my seamstress for my dress for FH's cousin's wedding next week. FH in the meantime scheduled his tux fitting party at Tuxedo Park and all of the guys can come. YAY
Then I had the idea to go to Macy's Manhasset. I had bought at a trunk show so I and all my girls got a discount so I figured MIL could getg a discount. They no longer carry Jovani, but she found a Caterina she liked. She initially said she'd wait until Tuesday when she finds out about the other one, but then she decided to order it...it's below ..she's getting it in raspberry.
What a relief!
On the way into Macy's FH pointed out a sale jewelry rack and I also got my BM jewelry. I couldn't find a pic online, but it's drop earrings and a pendant. It's a round amethyst surrounded by little damonds. They were marked $100 but on sale for $35 a set, which was great. FH had to go to another Macy's today to get the rest, but now I have all the sets I need so YAY.
