Checks!

Checks!

so excited!

1) We have an officiant booked, which is a huge sigh of relief because this means it was someone FH&I AND my parents could agree upon! We didn't want to get married in a church because we're the opposite of religious lol, and we had noticed great reviews of this one officiant.

Well, my mom called me to tell me Fox Hollow gave her a recommendation for officiants, and she wanted the priest.

I was about to yell - when we both said it was Rev Nick we were talking about!

2) Plus, after we got back from work today FH & I finalized our (my) vision for the color palette - a vintage peach, blue, grey scheme.

3) Found an amazing invitation that we BOTH like equally and can also be customized with the colors we want...oh, and yeah....the template was free

4) save the date magnet proofs were emailed and those are good to go!

5) decided that I'm definitely going to do a groom's cake and what it will be

I am beyond ecstatic that these things are no longer haunting me haha....I think I'm most shocked that FH was okay with my very funky/retro choice of invites! He's usually very traditional

When we found Rev Nick and went to his site, one of the first things we noticed was that he basically specializes in EVERYTHING. There are reviews on his page of couples who combined faiths/ceremonies, and there are a few on LIW too! definitely check him out - and I hope he keeps listening to you because, obviously, it's *really* our day lol

Re: Checks!

UGH I have to take back one check

My awesome wonderful perfect stationery doesn't have 'the proper wording' so my mom would rather we not use it. It gives the impression that FH & I are throwing the wedding so now I have to find something just as perfect with a more obvious placement of 'the parents of the bride would like to blah blah blah'

but i still have other checks so I'll live

How are you incorporating gray into your scheme? I really want my bridesmaid's to wear slate gray dresses bc I think it will complement everyone's shapes but I cannot decide whether I should also have them wear a lavender or light blue sashes to give it a pop of color. Ugh. I need to start making some decisions so I can check things off.
Good job to you!

I'm going to be making a lot of things for the wedding including centerpieces. Hot gluing dots, then spray-painting clean glass bottles white and pale grey to give them the look of milk glass.

The girls will have an option to wear shades of grey, or each a different color, but I think at least one girl for sure will go with the grey - mainly because all 3 automatically choose black clothes anyway.

I'd also like to find grey pearl earrings/necklace for my BMs, too.

Any decor I make with the peach and blues will have a compliment of grey, basically, but it's hard to tell exactly what I'll get to do because the day is soooo far away now!
