checks! and happy memorial day!

I made our menus last night, with a thank you to guests/family on the back similar to the ones on pinterest, and I think they came out great

I also designed our hotel door signs, and all I have to wait on now is finding a martha stewart 2' hole punch to make my life easier and cut the circles out.

Ordered a ton of supplies needed to make our bells for the recession, wood stirrers I will be turning into drink flags with a ton of awesome washi tape found on etsy AND, what I'm most excited for - I finally decided on a guest book once and for all! I was lusting after those big journals with envelopes taped inside for your guests to sign, but I didn't feel like spending over $120 just to get a nice scrapbook, good paper and the envelope/card sizes I needed.

The other guest book option I loved was the address box, so guests all leave their important info for us to have as newlyweds, plus comments/advice on the cards, too - found the PERFECT one on etsy by rfrantzdesign who uses a lot of vintage/retro papers which matches our theme exactly!

It was so easy! In word, I changed the size of the paper to a custom size (can get to this through the layout section) of 8' long by 3' wide. It can also be done by doing columns to do multiple hangers per sheet, using the same measurements. Then, just choose the fonts and phrases you want and type them out, leaving room at the top for the knob hole and any embellishment. Mine say 'Shhhhh!' in large font, with 'We're recovering from Diana and Kevin's wedding!' underneath, and I'll probably add some of the washi tape across the top/bottom that matches other wedding DIYs of ours

A large part of it I think is I don' thave any graphic layout program I like on my computer.

I don't use any special programs! Everything I do is in word, paint, or powerpoint. The only thing I needed to photoshop at all was taking arrows off from around a heart and I passed that one minor league trick off to FH - he tried to teach me but I don't care enough lol.

I also have a lot of templates saved so if you need, FM and I can send anyone whatever I have if it helps
