Checks in RSVP's

Checks in RSVP's

So we got our first check in a 'no' RSVP on Friday. FH thinks we should wait until after the wedding to cash it...but it's dated for now. Any suggestions?

we deposited them now but are sending our picture thank you cards after the wedding....it's really up to you

Now. Checks are only good for SO long. I would also send a qucik thank you stating you are sorry they wont make it and you appreciate the thoughful gift etc. Then when you get your formal thank you's from your photographer (if you are using these) send another one again thanking them and that they were missed and all that good stuff

I would cash it now and send a thank you, or wait and send your formal wedding thank you cards!

i would do it now. it messes people up (i think) when you hold checks or dont deposit them right away. go for it.

FH and I did it as soon as we recieved them.. I don't know if it's wrong to do, but we have been using them for those 'extra' wedding costs.

I would deposit it! I second that it may mess up peoples books.
We deposited all the checks we received into a joint savings that we set up to use after the wedding as a start to our new lives together.
