checks that come in your married name

We had a few of these already. We found that citibank would deposit them for us since we had a joint account and our marriage license.

Just wanted to pass that on for those who get checks made out to 'mr. and mrs. FH'. It helps to have a joint acct and your license with u

You can also endorse the check twice--once with your maiden name and once with married name. So the back of the check would read:

Richard Jones
Stephanie Jones
Stephanie Smith

If you go with wedding checks in bulk, just explain to the teller. They see it all the time and won't even quesion it!!

And it'll be sooooo nice to see all that $$ in the account!!!!
