Cheesecake Factory...

Have you ever gone when there WASN'T a wait?? Don't get me wrong, I love the food but if I go when I think there will be a less amount of people there, they are STILL on a wait! Go figure

I've only eaten there once.
It's ridiculous.
They have all that wasted space...
It looks like a big place, but when you actually get in, there's like 8 tables.

2 hours??? That's insane!!

I have never waited. My hubby knows almost all the managers from Cheesecake factory and even the regional manager. He does business with them so one back scratches the other. The food is good but not good enough to wait for 3 hrs.

ETA: They have just added a new section of seating and if I am not mistaken fits 150 more people.

What kills me, is that the wait is bad enough but there's no place to wait. You can't even walk around the mall a little or their pagers don't work.

Hmmmm....all you people that know the managers...let me know next time you are going and I am tagging along!!

I agree

Jim & I love that place. We used to try to get there once a month but the wait just really dragged us down. Now we never go. We miss it but it's just not worth the wait no matter how the good the food is or the portions. We also tell our friends 'Great place, but shamefully hard to get seated'.

No offense, but I've probably seen you 'No Wait' people.

I go LIVID when I've been waiting 45mins on an Hour and 15 min wait when some couple, group or whatever waltzes in and waits less than 20 and gets seated. I HATE HATE HATE THAT!! I mean could you NOT do that in front of people who have been waiting forever?

Once I got so angry I asked the lady what was up and she gave me attitude I lost it, told her she was discriminating against Mexicans and Chinese since she let the white folks ahead of us with less wait. At first she just sneered then I said 'See that Old Chinese woman over there standing? She's been standing for half an hour and you don't have space for her to sit, now you're going to tell me that I just 'have to wait' when you let those folks through?'

We got seated a few minutes later but I was SOOOOOOOOOOOO angry. It was supposed to be dinner to celebrate Jim's little sister for being first in her class in High School. She was so happy to be there at first, then that quickly faded.. then after me screaming at the lady (Which I did in a way she nor the grandma could see) she was getting more and more bummed. She had seen what I had and felt slighted.

We've never been back.

Jim & I actually fought that night over the horrible service in wait from the Cheesecake Factory. He thinks I should have just let it go, but I thought he should have been the one to say something, for god's sake it was his own grandma suffering!

Cheesecake Factory: Good Food, Bad Service.

On a better note, we went to them for our little engagement in dinner in San Antonio, no such trouble.

I understand what you are saying I usually don't wait 20 minutes. We call ahead and we usually just walk in...lol. I really don't go much, especially not lately. Haven't been there for 3 months. I am spanish so I don't think there is any descrimination on our part.

You guys can tag along whenever you like.

Thing is they are now offically on my bad people bad service list.

PF Changs we stopped going when they got rid fo our favorite dessert. Heh

Im sure one day we'll return to Cheesecake Factory, maybe... possibly.. maybe not. THey dont take reservations right? Whatever.. If I want good food Im willing to go elsewhere if I cant go there. Other places are quieter and a heck of a lot more attentive.

Im just addicted to their Filet Mignon.. *sigh*
Oh well.

Girls..I have never been to PF Changs and now you have me craving for it...lol. Will need to go one day.

Latina, Marcella and I are all Spanish so no discrimintaion there, LOL!!!!!!!!1
