CHEF LIA and my GREAT cooking lessons!!!

Hello Ladies-

I just wanted to say how thrilled I was to meet Chef Lia! For those of you who do not know who she is, look under category 'COOKING' and you will find her. She came to our home Friday and spent three hours with me teaching me how to cook. I have to be honest, I really needed some help. I have always wanted to know how to cook well for my husband and family. She is sooo patient and knowledgeable and helpful!! I really had a great few hours with her. I really learned a lot about cooking and all sorts of skills that go along with it. It was a Christmas gift from my husband, who I guess was starving, and figured this was a mutual gift!!! A gift that keeps on giving as he puts it!!! You pay for the lesson and the cost of grocerries. What is nice, is that you are learning how to cook in your enviornment with your pots and pans. Which is very helpful to allow you to understand how to use what is in your home-not using materials out at a cooking school.
If there are any questions please Forum Mail me.

Glad you had a great experience. I def need some help in the kitchen. But then again, FH is going to cooking school. He tries to teach me new things, and i tell him i dont want to learn because then he will expect me to be cooking more.

It is a little like the take home chef. I loved it. My husband sat at the table and ate with the biggest grin on his face. I was so happy to make food that he actually ate and enjoyed. Nothing worse than making food that he would not like and 'pretend' to eat. I highly recommend her!

She really is wonderul! I def say give her a shot or at least call her to see what she has to say. This is coming from someone who is not just a makeup vendor on here but a bride as well. I never had even met Lia before and we have both been on LI.Weddings for awhile. I was so upset that I really could cook eggs and that was about it! I have to give credit to my husband who came on here and searched for someone like this. But again, I think he was hungry-and tired of me burning food. Not too mention the crying I did everytime I ruined a meal. Sound familar????LOLOLOL
