Chemical exposure???

Yesterday I was gluing one of my photo albums back together (the stupid binding came apart) with one of those super industrial strength glues. After about 20-30 seconds, I realized I probably shouldn't be using this stuff (it has a smell like paint thinner or gas). Now I'm totally paranoid. Everything I've read says a single exposure like this is probably no big deal and that it is all dose-based, but I'm still worried. Has anyone else had this experience or know anyone who has?

I am, well was, a chemist and worked with a ton of embryotoxins (of course according to safety procedures) and I wasn't allowed out of the lab until about 12 weeks....Gabriella turned out fine.
