Where in Southampton are you getting married? I am getting married @ Sacred Hearts and then a reception at the Elk's. Who did you talk to about the cake? That is outrageous!

Re: Cher
Hi
I'm actually getting married in Sagaponack at Wollfer Vineyard.
I don't remember the name of the baker. I got her number from the caterer and she works out of her home.
I don't have it in my budget to spend a lot on cakes, since we splurged on other things. I don't really want to trek all the way out east to look at cakes either
I was thinking of trying Audrey's or Just in Cakes (someone mentioned them in your other post)
Let me know if you find anyone else!

Hey Hamptons Brides!
I found Just in Cakes to be a bit expensive - plus there's a $50 delivery charge. I think I'm going to go with Blue Duck. That's the most reasonable price I've found. Unless you both know of anything else. Cher- who are you using for flowers? Kim Jon design is all booked up - I was going to use her.
The countdown is on...

Hi1 I am going with Blue Duck too. The cake will be $335. I am having KimJonDesigns do the flowers. TracyAnn-I thought you were using her too. What happened? You may want to call Lynch's Garden Center. I am not sure if they do wedding flowers though. I do know you can rent plants from them. What kind of cakes are you getting?

Re: Cher
Hey Anne -
I was going to use KimJon but didn't book her in time and she booked up for that date, so I'm in search of another florist. Oh, well, I'll just keep looking...

Re: Cher
Wow a whole post named after me
For flowers I'm using Flower's by Beth in Amagansett. When I met with her I thought she was great-and very resonable for the hamptons. Someone on the board recommended her and so did my caterer.
Wolffer Estate is expensive- $9500 just for the site on a Sunday - We are having a very small wedding-about 60 guests-so I justify it by saying we're still spending the average amount on a wedding. I really fell in love with it so now I'm trying to be reasonable about other things... Wolffer isn't that big.. I don't think you should have more than maybe 100-120 people there
I definetly check out the Blue Duck Bakery!
