Did anyone use cherry blossoms in their centerpieces? I am thinking about mixing them with calla lillies instead of the curly willow to bring in some pink. Can you please send me pics if you have used or seen anything like this. Thanks!

Re: Cherry Blossoms?
i don't have any photos, but i've heard that it's VERY difficult to use cherry blossoms just because you never know if they'll be in bloom at the exact time you need them. Check with your florist about that, but because they're tempermental, they also tend to be on the expensive side.
i could be wrong...just telling you what i've heard

I am so jealous - I wish I was getting married when we could use them,... they are beautiful

I've heard this too -- a silk imitation is a nice alternative

very hard to get because they are only in season for a short time, but i have links saved for crystal cherry blossoms, super pretty and not too expensive, we were considering having them in our centerpieces before we decided against a cherry blossom theme. let me know tho, because i still have a TON of cherry blossom related links saved.

Yes, seasonal is an understatement....you can end up with twigs w/leaves.....I'd shoot for opting for silk, or you should have a backup plan just in case....

Re: Cherry Blossoms?
I think it would look beautiful and it would make for a dramatic cp. You could do silk and only a few. If you mixed them with real calla it would be beautiful. I agree on silk....cherry blossoms are beautiful but the way the seasons go it may be to hard. Good luck!
