I found a florist who told me he could purchase Cherry Blossom early in the season, keep them cold and then let them bloom the week of my wedding (which is May 24). He said that is how he can get cherry blossoms at the end of May, which is a few weeks after the season.
Anyone ever heard of this? Has anyone had cherry blossoms in late May or June for their wedding?

My florist said that they're expensive to buy the branches and hte branches don't always bloom. We wanted to make an arch for the ceremony. The effect would be nice but it sounds like it might be a gamble.

i don't know if i would trust the florist and if he is telling the truth, he's probably gonna charge you a pretty penny. i desperately wanted cherry blossoms too but i got married in september so it definitely wasn't the season. we settled with these and it was gorgeous!
