Chewie has a little lump on his side. UPDATED

Its a hard pink lump the size of a pea. It doesn't seem to hurt him but I hope its nothing bad. I am going to get it checked though. Any idea of what it could be? I am hoping nothing bad.

awww i'm not sure - maybe since he is so young he is just developing? i dont know. it'll be ok

I don't want to minimize what it could be because I'm no vet, but both my Boston's have the same thing and the vets told me it was a fatty mass or benign tumor. More irritating than harmful, but thankfully not fatal. Hopefully that's all it is because Chewie is the same type of breed/size (smaller breed) as my girls. Danielle's yorkie has a few of them and he is 14 years old now....I hope everything is ok with Chewie

Gizmo has a few fatty masses but they didn't appear until he was older (he is 12 now).
Take Chewie to the vet! I hope everything is OK

it is probably just a mole or skin tag, harmless. Relax puppy momma!

Oh no my poor Chewie. My Mom's dog has a lump it turned out to be an umbilical hernia. Maybe it is a hernia and it will be nothing

Chewie!!!!! Take him to the vet. If you need a second opinion, my vet is the first one the city calls when they have pet needs/issues.

Hooray that Chewie is okay!

I'll bet he was a real little trooper about it the whole time too! Our friend has a golden lab and he has a couple fatty masses too. They're harmless - I'm glad to hear that your baby Chewie is okay!
