Chicas...I can't believe it!!

I just called Holiday inn Express to get a qoute for blocking rooms for my wedding...I almost died when I heard the price..

$159.00 a night yikes..
i went to a wedding last year and was mad at the 139.00 price...

It does not help I am getting married on Memorial Day weekend..

I feel horrible about asking them to spend this...I am going to puke!

189.00 per night
149.00 per night

And im a winter bride but its Valentines day. UNREAL!

Crazy...I know..they don't evenhave a bar at this place...just a continental breakfast...which means hard bagels and old fruit!!

no it's included..i would really die if it was extra...i am feeling a little better b/c everyone seems to be in the same boat...but JEEZ!!!

I know it...then the sales person was like 'tell your guest to book it in the next 3 months because that weekend seels out fast and we cannot guarantee anything'...

i felt violated lol!!!

I think thats good, I was getting quotes at some hotels in river head for $209 and $229... one hotel actually told me they wouldn't charge more than $299...

I think thats about right what u were quoted.

They are not supposed to do that, if you reserve a block, it stays reserved until one month prior . . . tell them to put it in writing

Also, they're not supposed to even quote you until 50 weeks prior, so be careful, it might go up (just that hotel . . . been communicating with them for a while b/c they're next door to my hall)
