Chicken, Beef, and Fish?????????

I was wondering what you girls were going to offer your guests.

Our hall lets us choose just 3 off their extensive menu. I definately have to have the filet mignon, but they have some really other nice choices

some choices im really considering

Long Island Duck, semi boneless, served with a rasberry orange sauce

Thai crusted chilean sea bass
pan seared with a thai crust of toasted macadamia nuts, coconuts, ginger and cilantro

Rack of Lamb
pan seared with a dijon rosemary bread crumb crust enhanced with lamb jus lie

They have a few chicken dishes that look awesome, but i always like to try new things.
I kinda dont want to do the traditional chicken fish and beef.

i know what you mean about trying new things, but in my opinion - again JMO, there are a lot of people that dont want to try new things

While planning this day / party, i keep thinking of myslef as a guest, and as a guest, what would I want to see, hear, eat, etc

I know it is our day, but you want people to enjoy themselves, and that includes what they eat

I agree...it's great to try new things, but you still have to cover all bases (especially when it comes to food), meaning you would need a chicken, beef, and fish dish.

Nicole, maybe you can try and see if your BM would throw in another entree for you? Also, I'm sure you have PLENTY of different options available at your CH, so I wouldn't worry too much about the dinner itself.

I definitely agree. i dont want to spend money if people arent going to enjoy the food. My menu has 7 dishes and they look to classy for my family but it goes with the place. I just stress that when they look at the menu they are going to want to modify the dish.

SNOWFLAKE are you having a Sangria Bar? Just wondering!
