I have to choose 2 out of 3 menu choices, b/c I'll also need a vegetarian dish. I like fish and steak, but not sure which guests will prefer. Chicken is so boring....but also safe.
We tasted all 3; the steak and fish were amazing...chix good but not nearly as exciting. If you were at my wedding, which would you order?

I am actually a vegetarian, so that is what I would order. But, I think a lot of people are eating chicken these days to be a bit healthier, or they don't eat red meat. Also, al lot of weddings I go to have a vegetarian option that is not on the menu and that they will give to you if you ask. Maybe you should find out what your hall does. That way you wouldn't have to use up one option on the vegetarian dish.

I would personally like the filet mignon or the fish, but I think you are safer with the chicken since a lot of people do not eat red meat and/or fish. I would say the steak and the chicken.

I don't eat steak and I know that there are a lot of people that don't like fish. I would get the chicken just to be on the safe side.

i'm curious...are you having a lot of vegeterians at your wedding, and that is why you have to have a vegeterian choice? i only ask , cause many times halls will simply have a handful of veggie dinners for those who don't eat meat, and then just allow you your 3 choices.
as for the choice, i would totally pick steak!

Same here, love the bass but thinking of the greater good of the group I would go with the filet.

I was about to say the same thing.... you shouldn't have to pick a veg option.
If not, personally, I wouldn't offer the chicken. Get the most bang for your buck. Order something that costs more. Catering halls buy chicken at like $4 a pound. Go for the filet or sea bass. Its not like they'll charge you less for using chicken... they are pocketing more $.
