Chicken Help!

Anyone have an easy method for taking the skin off chicken beofre it's cooked? It's all slimy and really hard to get off and it takes me forever!!!
Thanks!

I leave the skin on, then remove it once the chicken is cooked. It keeps the chicken moist. It makes very little difference in the fat content whether the skin is removed before or after cooking.

If you really, really want to remove the skin before cooking, try doing so when the chicken is still a little bit frozen. I find that it's much easier to trim partially frozen chicken cutlets than fully defrosted ones-so maybe that will work with removing the skin.

My mom always used a paper towel. She said it gave her the grip she needed. My FMIL is a nurse, so she brings home rubber gloves from work and uses those. Just make sure you use the powder free kind!!

try taking a spoon and slide it uder the skin to separate it from the meat. They trim it off.
