Chiffon Dresses

Anyone using chiffon dresses? Being that I am getting married in the spring time, I'm thinking of doing a more summery dress. Originally I was looking at Satin dresses but now I'm leaning towards Chiffon floor length gowns. I have narrowed it down to 3 styles all by Jasmine. Two of the girls have big chests and one who I may be asking is a plus size. I want something that will look flattering on all body types and isn't skin tight. But at the same time I don't want it to look to martionally.

I haven't picked a dress, but am definitely using chiffon - i think its more forgiving, and satin can wrinkle more easily and I am pretty OCD about wrinkles.

i think chiffon is good for spring, but id be careful in summer...we wore chiffon dress for my cousins wedding in july and it was so hot that all the girls looked like we had huge pit stains bc of the fabric

Chiffon would be REALLY nice. Go with what you want to get.

Chiffon dresses are definitely really pretty and shape forgiving. Just be careful they aren't TOO shapeless...that will be bad for the smaller girls in the BP.

I really wanted chiffon, and for the same reasoning. We only looked at one place and I ended up really liking the ones I picked, which are satin. Maybe I just didn't like what they had to offer in chiffon, but there is a lot out there. Also, I think my bigger problem was that the chiffon colors they were showing me were different from the satin colors, and the two pinks I was looking for were on the satin chart.

I think Bari Jay has a lot, and maybe After Six. Good luck!

I think chiffon is nice for a spring wedding. I am actually thinking of choosing chiffon instead of satin for my BM dresses as well.

Check out Jasmine's website. They have beautiful chiffon dresses.

I am doing chiffon dresses for my bridesmaids!
I went with my sister (MOH) to a bridal store to sift through THOUSANDS of dresses and decided that all the other dresses were simply too stiff for a spring outside wedding.

We found a chiffon dress that is gorgeous super flattering and has lots of movement... :)
