Someone asked my MOH if they can bring their 4 year old son to my bridal shower. Should kids be allowed at a bridal shower?

If you want (or don't mind) kids there, then by all means! Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think there's any rigid tradition about having no kids there.
ETA: If you're not planning to do anything too racy!

We are having kids from the immediate family... brothers and sister's kids... and thats it!

depends where it'll be held...but every shower i have been to has had kids there...all personal opinion!!

I don't have a problem with it. I think it's up to you though. I think the rules are different from those for the wedding since it is usually during the day and I wouldn't want to stress anyone out if they didn't find a babysitter. I would think the moms would want to go by themselves if possible though. In the end - it is up to you since you know the situation better than we do. I do think it is perfectly acceptable.

My flower girl was at mine, but that was it. My nephews were just there for the surprise and then left with the guys, as did my cousin and his daughter. I think a couple of kids are okay, but I wouldn't want a whole bunch there.

I'm so anti-children at adult events. Don't get me wrong I love children but at certain times, in certian places. WOW...that sounds so mean!
At FSIL's shower her 'cute' 3 year old nephew ripped open the bridal party gift while no one was looking, they were a little irritated.

I hope there will be no kids at my shower. I think they will get bored and start running around and annoying people (like me). I think it should be adults only.

I think 'kids' by way of little girls are ok. Little boys - that's sort of odd. Why would they want to bring him? It's just not an event for males, regardless of the age.

There were 6 kids at my shower including one boy. They were so cute and even helped me open the gifts
