Here's my situation - please let me know your thoughts.
I have 8 bm's (including MOHs), FH has 6 guys (including BM)
I have 3 little cousins, 2 girls, 1 boy - and I really want them in the wedding. I was in their parents' weddings, and their parents where in my parents wedding. So i want to continue the tradition...
FH has like 12 little cousins (no joke), so we obvi can't include them all, and he doesn't have one in particular he'd like to ask.
He is 'OK' with asking my 3 cousins, but I want to know what you think. Would that be really bad?

someone will get pissed off on his side...almost guaranteed. like, why are her cousins kids in there and ours aren't
but then again, you can't please everyone anyway

no. you cant ask everyone. I'm including FH's youngest cousin I think somehow bc she's so into it, but I have 4 of my own 1st cousins and I never thought to include them.

It's impossible to include everyone! If FH can't pick out one to be in the BP maybe you can find other ways to include them?
Have 2 or 3 of them be in charge of giving out bubbles or whatever you are having people do when you walk out (wands, petals etc.)?

I like Tarricone's idea - have them hand out bubbles or whatever it is your giving out and at least they can be a part of something. someone is always going to be unhappy, but just do whatever works for both of you

I also like her idea about the bubbles and including them in other special ways Maybe u could also choose one of the boys that way there are two boys and two girls?

ya - the other thing is that his cousins are all boys except for one girl - and none of them care. like seriously, they dont. and im not so sure if his family will care either. they understand that theres SO many of them. its also different for me because i'm an only child, so my cousins are really important. UGHHH annoying.

You can invite whoever you want, it's your special day. I do agree that maybe you should incorporate the other side's children somehow, as mentioned above.
