I never thought to address this when signing my contract, but anyone know ( CB brides in particular) if they typically give a discount on the per person rate for children and vendors ( photog/ dj or band etc)
I will be PISSED if I have to pay the full per person price ..... most vendors require a meal and even cake in their contracts

i've never heard of a RH not giving a discount for kids... i'm getting half off... u should even get a special rate for vendors meals i'm paying even less for them than for the kids

Most vendors give discounts for kids because since they can't drink, you can charge them for alcohol.

At the Swan Club if we used one of their vendors they ate free, if it wasn't one of theirs it's half price.
Kids under 12 are half price too.

as far as vendors go i was told to say i was not feeding them & that there would be extra food available so there free for me.

You should totally get a discount for kids, and because the vendors are NOT getting the same meals as your family and friends, there should be a discount on that as well, make sure you double check with your hall, but you should NOT be charged full price for those meals! Good Luck!

vendors were $35, children 4-10 are $35...children under 4 are free after minimum is met

Kids under 12 at my rh are half price, I would talk to your rh I'm sure that kids are discounted, they might even be offered a different menu, more appropriate for their tastes.

Mine wasn't in my contract at all, but I brought up the vendor meals (not having kids) and they said of course it's cheaper, they're not drinking. They also usually offer a cold meal, but not sure if that's frowned upon by vendors.

Many vendors have in their contracts you have to feed them. Just an FYI.

I know at Jericho Terrace the house vendors eat free, if they're not house vendors they are half price. The kids under 12 are also half price too.

I'm getting married at CB, its on the contract. Children under 10y/o or 12y/o (cant remember) are 1/3 off after the minimum, so are vendors. Children under 3 are free
