..so my mom calls me up the yesterday...saying that she is a chillis and when she was eating nachos..in the sour cream she felt a piece of glass...she actually almoust ate it.!!!! omg
can you believe it?
so the manager offered free things to them..but when i found out...i freaked out spoke to the manager over the phone and told him that our lawer will be contactiong him. so he got very upset took my moms name and a phone number ..anyway..i just called dept of health and filed a complaint..
my mom doesnt want to cause any problems or fight with anyone..thats why..im doing hahhaha...
but i think its just crazy...
manager was very unprofessional too...
that place is in Farmingdale...
my mom loves chillis..but that kind of things..im not going to tolerate...

are you kidding me!?!?!?! you definately need to take action - do you know what that can do to your gastro-intestinal track if she did swallow it!

besides, if you get a settlement out of it maybe mom will give you some for the wedding!

but really you gotta say something, otherwise it could happen again and someone could really get hurt

That can happen anywhere. I was at a wedding at the Watermill and during the Champagne toast at my cousin's wedding, I sipped my champagne and had glass in my throat.

probably won't get much in a lawsuit, to be honest. unless you know a lawyer who is willing to work for free. your bills will probably cost the amount you'd get in a settlement since she wasn't actually hurt.

You can't file for a suit in this case- she didn't swallow it- she didn't cut herself. If she was hurt, then that is a different story.

yea thats what i was told ..and i knew that..too..i dont know..i mean..at least dept of health will scare them a little..

thats crazy.....we went to PF Changs in long island and there was a piece of plastic in our spring rolls and FH chewed it!!!! Our entire meal was free and they gave us coupons for a lot more free stuff when we go next time but since then we've been sticking to the one in White Plains, no plastic pieces there.

OMG

we had an experience liket hat. At Canteena inbay ridge. FH was eating and goes 'OMG'
i look and right between his teeth (like the top part of the gums) is a piece of metal sticking out!

it ended up being part of a strainer!!!!!! And fh 'didnt want to cause problems' and they didnt even give us his second meal for free! never went back there and never will.

First off, thank God she didn't get hurt! I'd say though, since she didnt, file a complaint and leave it at that. I feel like its bad karma to look for more trouble than that since she's okay. If she got hurt and was bleeding, maybe a lawsuit would be necessary but just be happy she didnt!
