How many of you past brides actually got it and used it?
Do you think it is worth it for me to register for it if FH and I are probably going to live in a co-op and not have the room to have all those people over?
I am debating whether or not to register for it?
TIA

Re: China
I thought about this same question over and over...I decided that I am prob not going to register for it. I know me and I cant be bothered taking it out and putting it away- plus if you get silver utensils- they have to be polished. I know that fh's mom and my grandmothers each have sets that I will probably be inheriting. I dont think its worth the money especially if you dont have the room

I am only thinking about it because so much of my registry has been bought and given to us.
I would not be buying seperate flatware just using our regular flatware

Re: China
its really up to you and whether you will use it or not. I use china for regular plates too so i use it lol. They are more everyday type plates bc they are simple but they are china. I also have alot of room in cabinets, so have all everyday on one side and then in another cabinet have the formal china and just keept it there.
But if you dont think youre going to use it then i wouldnt get it. But if you think you will use them in the future its good to get it now and get it as a gift bc down the road who knows if you'll want to buy it for yourself

Re: China
I live in a co-op now; it's only a one-bedroom....but I am still going to register for china since our goal is to buy a house...
And once we have our house, we can use the china or at least let it collect dust in a china cabinet..lol.
How long do you plan on staying in the co-op? Maybe you can use that as part of your decision.

Re: China
I can't wait to use my china, I hope I get most of it at least... I feel like you should use china to make special occasions instead of just on 'official' special occasions
