China?

I really don't want it/feel like I need it, but everyone tells me I am going to be sorry. What do you guys think?

Do what I'm doing register for very reasonable ones and this way you have them if you do need them.

You might not need it right now- but down the road you might want it- and it probably isn't the type of thing you'd ever buy yourself.... I haven't used mine yet (but I've only been married 3 months) but I'm VERY happy I have it for when I have a house and have Thanksgivings and holidays at my house.

I didn't really want it either, but I know in the future I will be glad I have it.

Mine are still in the boxes but I know one day I will have a formal dinner or host a holiday get together where they will come in handy.

I opted not to get China. I went with a plain Mikasa casual china for my everyday and plan on mixing in christmas bowls for the holidays. Plain is good it will work with everything. I know I will not use the China because both of our families don't breakout the China out for the holidays.

I felt the same way - my FH and I don't even have space in the apartment for that stuff. But my mom said to get it because when we do get a house, we'll need it for like holidays and special events and it's better to have people buy it for you now then you having to buy it in the future. I'm going to leave it at my mom's house for now but you could also just keep it in storage -
