chinatown

chinatown

I went to chinatown today, figured I'd price slippers and fans.

I looked everywhere and the going rate for the slippers is $3 a pair. When I asked the price if I bought 50, he said $2. I told him I can get them online for $1.50 and he wouldn't budge on the price.

So I would suggest not wasting time going there and the fans I couldn't find nice small white ones anywhere. They all looked really cheap and hard to find $1 ones, they were mostly selling for $3 and up.

Really surprised to hear that, I usually can bargain on everything.

they did, they came down $1 but it wasn't enough. I know I have seen the slippers in dollar stores and online so I wasn't going to haggle too much

I got pairs of flip flops and chinese slippers at a wholesaler on 28th and broadway. 12 dollars a dozen for plain flip flops and 18 dollars a dozen for chinese slippers.
I got beautiful paper pink and white fans for about $4.00 a dozen.

The wholesaler is called Real Evergreen (i took their card) and you can only pay by cash since they usually don't sell to the public.

I found paper fans online for .55 each at
www.asianideas.com

and slippers for $18 a doz at
www.intertradecorp.com,

Thanks maybe I'll check your place out first. I prefer to see things instead of just ordering online, especially the fans
