I have been doing so well, going to gym , eating right, and I also want this to be a lifestyle change. so DH just called and wants me to meet him after I am done at the gym for chinese. Please help, I have been turning him down in fear that I will binge. I can't stand to look at egg drop soup, other than that what can I get? I am allergic to shrimp so that is out. I am going to really concentrate on portion size too, maybe I can just make a plate out of whatever DH orders. HELP!!

Re: Chinese Food
One hint I got about ordering chinese was to get one order of steamed veggies and then a dish that you would get otherwise, and then just mix all the veggies in, so you don't feel like you are depriving yourself, and you can have the rest another time...

Re: Chinese Food
my meal was really great last night, but I have a silly question. my brother works in a vegan restaurant, and their 'oyster sauce' is obviously no oyster.. my meal last night came with oyster sauce on the side, is it real oysters? only asking because it did not taste fishy and I am allergic to a lot of seafood thanks.
edited to add, I felt totally guilt free eating it too(steamed food) usually I get mei fun, but did not want all those carbs late in the day
