Would the security guys hate me if I were to place a small, nearly empty bag for check in, so that I can put my shaving razor and nail files in it, but really nothing else?
We weren't planning to do checked baggage for honeymoon, but I just realized that wearing a bathing suit and being unshaven is gross, and I am not too happy about running around Costa Rica searching for dispozable razors and nail files.

Re: CHIPPA, A TRAVEL QUESTION FOR YA (OR YOUR FH)
chippa, I was actually told this past summer by lufthansa and swiss airlines that I cant put a dispozable razor in a carry on.
Will security guys hate me if I put a piece of luggage with just razors in the check-in baggage?

Where are you flying out of??
Personal care or toiletries with aerosols, in limited quantities (such as hairsprays, deodorants) Yes Yes Safety Razors (including disposable razors) Yes Yes
Alina ... I would avoid the potential problems & just check a bag. Honestly, You may spend more time being searched etc than picking up your bag at the baggage claim! Why risk it?

Its not a time saving measure, I am more afraid of losing the checked luggage than concerned with time... What if I have no clothing for honeymoon?

Re: CHIPPA, A TRAVEL QUESTION FOR YA (OR YOUR FH)
You should have no problems with the search
If you get told they have to search your bags, just go to the side, let them do the search and if they say anything about the razor, ask to speak to a supervisor and explain what happened and pull out the list (be nice though)
