The screens come with all the pools. I have seen some pools (passing houses) with a slide. I told Brian I want a slide.

Some houses even have a trampoline in the yard. How cool would that be???

How did you decide on your plot of land?

When we went last year in February we looked in the newspaper about land available. Since our friends live in the area they knew the streets. We called the guy up just to confirm its location and we drove over to the 2 properties listed. (they were about 3 blocks from each other)

We looked at what was on the land (how many trees, bushes, weeds) because when we have to clear the land (which is actually included in the price of the house when building. The builders will bring in contractors to clear the land) we wanted to know what we would have to clear. We can also keep some trees so I wanted nice trees on the property.

After we looked at the 2 pieces we talked about which one we liked more and when we came home to NY we called MrlandMan and worked out the deal.

Now with us being up here, whenever we see new property we call our friends down in FL to check it out for us. They have become our eyes and ears in Florida

This is our piece of land







3 blocks down the streets are paved. 6 blocks down where our friends are has a lot of houses. I think their are 2 hours within 3 blocks of us in all directions.

I hope this works out, so we could buy the land now, but it would be at least 3 years I think before we moved due to obligations here, so we could start building in 2 years.

Its a 1/4 acre. I agree it would be a fortune up here. I checked out the site yesterday and it looks like the prices went up again. We paid 2900 over a year ago. Even after the house is built you still have so much land left. I guess thats why so many people buy trampoleans.

He is so nice Mr Land Man. He has a florida accent and is so polite. His machine used to make me laugh, he would say 'Hi you have reached willis miller and oops sorry I've missed your call please leave a message' and he was so cheery. He is awesome with payment plans. We agreed to 100 dollars a month and actually paid it off in 5.

Sounds like a good plan. The time will fly. We bought our land over a year ago and it feels like only yesterday we did it.
