this is spinoff to the vh hour thread on 07 - has anyone been to a wedding with a chocolate fountain? if so, did it interrupt the wedding at all? ie dancing? was it worth it?

I'm having it. My cousin had one at her wedding and they placed it by the dance floor, so many of the girls went and got their choc fix and continued dancing while eating it.

Our friends had one at their wedding last year. They put it out in the room where they had CH with a few other desserts (I wouldn't call it a viennese though).

Mmmmm delicous, I've never seen them out before the VH only during it...I would like one but I'm only doing it if they can do White chocolate just incase I get some on my dress it will just blend in

yeah - i don't want vh. i got the choc fountain. but i don't really want it to interrupt the flow of the party, dancing.

I am having the VH hour... And a chocolate fountain. I think it is something different and it is really towards the end of the wedding, so it doesn't interrupt the dancing for more then 10 minutes

we had the choc fountain it came out an hour before the wedding ended it was a great treat, and we really enjoyed it.
everyone loved it, and it didnt cut into dancing much
people danced while they were on line!

We had the choc fountain and it DIDN'T interupt the dancing at all. Our catering hall didn't out it on the dance floor so it never got in the way.
I had one and it was served during dessert so the people who were sitting to eat just got up to get some chocolate and it wasnt on the dance floor or anything so it didnt disturb the dancing.
