Chocolate Covered Oreos

We're having a candy buffet and have gotten a bunch of candy already, but I feel like osmehting is missing and I was thinking about maybe making chocolate covered oreos? I'd probably do dark chocolate and white coloclate since 2 of our colors are black and white... what do you think?

I tried these for the first time recently and they are amazing! Most of the people in my office never had them either and we were all curious when someone brought them in.

Well we loved them and I think would be a great addition!

What do you mean, Candy Buffet? Is this your favors? or part of the wedding package?

candy buffets are very popular now, and they look great too...and yes many use this as favors, you have bags, or chinese take out boxes, or other boxes for guests to put the candy in

here are a few pics

You can buy chocolate covered oreos -- and I'd go for buying them to save the headache of making them right before the wedding. You can buy white or milk chocolate covered ones.

Sounds delicious!

We're using this as our favors... we're getting a bunch of different types of candy in our wedding colors and will set it up ourselves... we have favor boxes for people to fill up. Some people put it out right before the guests go home, but I think we'll do it earlier so people can munch on the stuff for awhile... becasue I have a feeling we'll have alooot of candy left over

Yea after I posted that I started picturing myself in the kitchen making tons of chocolate covered oreos and it was not a pretty picture... I tried choc. covered strawberries once and they didn't exactly look appetizing when I was done with them
But the ones they sell are just as good right? (I've never had them)
