And idea where I can find them in bulk at an affordable price? I want to put them on the tables with red rose petals to complete my black and red theme!
Try here. I ordered from them before and the strawberries really were huge and tasty. I don't know if you would consider this affordable though, but its the only place i've ordered from.
BTW, I had ordered these for Christmas so they can stand cold weather!

Re: Chocolate Covered Strawberries?
Ooooh, never thought about that, I love chocolate covered strawberries, I don tknow of anywhere, but i suggest making it a DIY project and do it alteast 2 days b4 the wedding, and keep fridge or freezer.
do a test batch 4 or 5 times before the wedding, so that the 6th time you do it, you've perfected it.

Don't freeze them! Chocolate will discolor in the freezer. It also sometimes discolors in the fridge, too, if too cold.

Yeah...me and my FH are pros at the berries. We LOVE them. Nothing beats a melted special dark bar over perfectly ripe berries! Mmmmm. I would rather have someone else make them anyway. I will be stressed enough!!!!!!

Re: Chocolate Covered Strawberries?
in lindenhurst there is a place called Heavnly Confections my husband and i always get ours there and the price is unbeatable around valentines day (which is ALWAYS very expensive) we pay about 15 bucks for a big chocolate heart bowl filled with chocolate covered strawberries..i think there were a dozen for 15 bux, which is great..also she does them pretty in lil white dresses and tuxes.. the lady there can make ANYTHING..im sure if you nix the choclate bowl you can get more strawberries for that price as well!!
