chocolate favors

Original post by florezpeeps

as if i don't worry enough about our wedding, my mind has strolled into some new unchartered grounds of paranoia...i've always liked the idea of chocolates as favors (fh and i are world renowned chocoholics, lol!)...yesterday i started thinking that sept 5th can still be very warm as well as the days leading up to it...i see a choco meltdown in my future...

anyone doing choco favors in the summer? how early are you going to get them? what are your plans for storage?

aggggggggghhhhhhh

adding the link for anyone that wants to check them out, (they are tastyyyyyyyyyy!):

I had them for our e-party last july. We got them about 3 days before. Godiva will hold them for you. And we told the RH to keep them in the fride to keep them cold. and they were great the day of. no problems what so ever.

thanks so much, godiva is my second choice- i was going to go over to the store on madison and check it out vs. cocoaroom, i am happy to learn they will hold them, thanks again!

Chocolate shouldn't be too old try not ordering them until like a month before this way they stay. Also never keep it too cold or duh warm.

I think it will be just fine. I would just try to keep the chocolate cool before the reception!!!
