Re: Chocolate Favors
I went on the wedding channel.. They have a sale.. I don't know if I want to use chocolate now.. I'm afraid of it melting or not being the same way I buy it when I put the favors in the hall... FM should have any questions...

Re: Chocolate Favors
somebody i know did Lindt chocolates as a favor. They gave everybody a small box with 4 truffles inside.
Theres also candy apples ive seen done which is nice.
Ive received Godiva chocolates as favor, it was 2 chocolates in a box. These can get pricey and you can definitely find it elsewhere for cheaper.

I'm considering making my own truffles but if you don't want to be under pressure... try www.truffletrolley.com. A few of the ladies here have given them rave reviews. You can also try the lindt outlet in westbury and package a few pieces in a box.

Re: Chocolate Favors
Try the Chocolate Duck in Farmingdale...they do all sorts of favors there. My brother and SIL did truffles from them and they were delicious! I just don't know the cost of it.
I get my melting chocolate from them all the time and it's just a great store!

Re: Chocolate Favors
We didn't have chocolate favors but we did purchase the chocolate sea shells that went on our cake. We got them from Chocolate Fantasies .com and they were cheap and came in perfectly. They do have some less than, um, polite novelty chocolates on there, but all in all, it is great chocolate and high quality.

Re: Chocolate Favors
I got these chocolate menus from a baker in Maryland named Phil DeLoache. They were not my favor but just a little something extra for every other place setting.
Thanks girls. This is the one thing that is driving me CRAZY!!! Our final head count is 321 and I am freaking out about favors! I am going to check out all of your suggestions.

Re: Chocolate Favors
I got small boxes with 4 Ghiradelli squares in each from ghirardelli.com ... they were a big hit at the wedding, and they arrived quickly. Check out my review for a picture of the box.

They came out so nice. WHat a great idea. Did you wrap them yourself or did you have them done?
