Everyone has been raving on the boards about these so Im curious! Does anyone have pictures of them from their weddings? Im thinking of renting one, they sound great. Also looking for suggestions of where to rent one.

Sounds yummy and different. I'll have to call the hall too and see if they offer it.
Thanks!

Re: Chocolate Fountains
I wanted one so bad - I found out that my hall had chocolate fondue pots. So we had that for at dessert hour - quite honestly- I never saw it - but everyone else raved about it.

Our hall supplied tons of fresh fruit, marshmallows, and pound cake to put on the skewers.

I've never experienced one. What do you do? Stand in line and hold the fruit and stuff under the fountain so the chocolate drips on it????

I want to have one. My mom said my cousin had it at her wedding (In Illinois!) and raved about it! I am just afraid I would drip on my dress...can't take me ANYWHERE!

I had wanted one so bad. I love fondue and thought the fountain was the coolest thing after seeing it on the food network last year. I decided against it though b/c after going to a bridal show and sampling it, I felt like the chocolate tasted fake, and it wasn't warm...I think regular chocolate fondue is better.Just my opinion....

Re: Chocolate Fountains
I experienced the chocolate fountain at an expo at Windows on the Lake. OMG .. fantastic. My hall charges $700 for this which I think is nuts, but I've heard that they've thrown it in for free at the last moment for some brides, so I'm going to do some sweet talkin'.... HAHA!
CHOCOLATE MAKES EVERYTHING BETTER!

There must have been something wrong with the machine....wasn't heating the chocolate properly. I know towards the end of the event, the chocolate was cooling off and it didn't taste as good. But when it's hot, it's sooo yummy. :) God, you gals are making me hungry.
