What colors tend to look good on people w/ fair skin and dark skin? My wedding is in October and I'm not sure what to do...
Any suggestions?

Re: Choosing BM colors, multi-ethnic BP
Black. That's what I'm doing and I have very fair-skinned Irish girls and very tan hispanic and italian girls. Everyone is happy with them.

Re: Choosing BM colors, multi-ethnic BP
i was wondering the same thing at first... and then i realized that i know what colors my friends/family wear all the time.
Almost anyone can wear any color, it's not as big of an issue as I had originally made it.
I think I'll be doing a blue. One of my bridesmaids is white as snow and an other is black as night.
I'd ask your bridal party what they are comfortable in and go and have a fun day of trying on stuff for color ideas.

I never even thought of it. I think you should go with the color that you like and not worry about complexions.

I would also say go for the dark colors like brown, black, navy. I was just in my friends wedding and she had us in champagne and we ranged from dark to really light skin and we all looked good in that color.

I am having them wear espresso brown ~ I have all different shapes and sizes and all different ethnic backgrounds...
I would stay away from very pale/nude colors if you have pale people in your party, like very light browns and yellow shades. One of my BMs is so pale she's essentially paper white and she had to try on a sample dress in this very very light brown color and she looked naked!

I was thinking about champagne too. That should look nice on brown and fair skin.

Aqua and Greens look good on all skin types. Also maybe a deep brown or maroon to get into a fall theme.
