i got my proofs back yesterday and im going through the good and separating them.
Just wondering what the standard amount of pictures is for an album.
And also how did you narrow down the choices? What did you have alot of?

i didn't do it yet (dreading it actually) but i know we get up to 60 images in ours and 24 in the parents albums

i went through all the picutres and separated them Out of 900 i have 246 that are good for the album I can have 115 images in the album So now i guess i have to go through it again.
I have to eliminate 131 pictures.
The parent albums get 24 pictures as well.
I want to pic them because it takes a few months to get the album and i really want it finished

The album we are choosing is 40 pics. Ijust started by picking out my favorites and must haves. Then went in order of the day. I ahve 47 picked out so we have to narrow it down.

We get to pick 60 photos for our album and each set of parents choose 24 for their albums. We only have 350 proofs (seems low compared to what I've seen other girls post...) but it will still be hard to choose! We just picked our TY card photo last week but we haven't even begun to narrow down the album yet.

I had only 35 pics in my album but i added some to bump it up to 56. I think depending on your album style really is what the qty you would have.
Just wondering what the standard amount of pictures is for an album. I had a traditional digital album (not a magazine digital album). Magazines you would need more photographs since they are more of a layering of photographs instead of a traditional photograph that stands on it's own.
My album proof should be ready today or Monday and how I organized the pictures was in sections. Getting Ready Parents Bridal party Location Shots with DH alone Details Ceremony Reception
We figured what needed to be in: one picture of each family with us, one picture of entire bp, one picture with my niece and nephew, one picture of our cake, etc. So prioritize your important shots. For us it was most important to have us, then our wedding details were important, family and then bridal party.
We were reminded by family who have had been married that the album is about you and dh not about every table shot, not about every aspect of your wedding (we didn't include ANY bq toss/garter/etc.).
